A new service estimate may be required to determine the location of the main water service line in relation to your property and estimate the cost of establishing new service. After the new service estimate is concluded, a water service representative will contact you with the required fees and further information on activating your water service.
To request a new service estimate, please submit a completed Service Application & Agreement to our office via fax, email, mail or in person.
Depending on the results of the new service estimate, additional documentation or forms outside of the standard agreements may be required.
If you have any questions regarding the new service estimate, or how it may pertain to your address specifically, please contact our office.
New Service Estimate Information
Once you request a new service estimate, it generally takes 3-5 business days to come back from our technician. Once the request is received in the office, we will e-mail you directly using the information provided on your application. All applications must be completed in full in order to start this process. All requests are non-binding and free of charge. This is used specifically to gather information to be able to provide a cost estimate to start water service whether it be a residential or commercial connection.
All requests for new service estimates must have a service address - if no service address exists at the time of submission, we must have the closest intersection and lot number. Lot(s) must also be clearly marked for our technicians to be able to perform the Tap Inquiry.
For any new service estimates outside of Comal County, please provide a subdivision plat showing your lot(s), property ID number, and physical lot(s) marked with property pins and lot number on a stake.
