What is a Residential Service?
Residential service is considered a single-family home on a single lot with a 5/8" or 3/4" meter size.
For any other type of dwelling or configuration please refer to the commercial connection page.
To establish residential service, please fax, email, mail or come to our office with the required documentation and fees. A standard 5/8” or 3/4” residential meter will supply a single-family residence. If you plan to supply water to more than one dwelling or plan for a sprinkler system please contact our office to discuss further options.
Some SJWTX areas also provide wastewater services or bill for a third-party wastewater provider. Please see our wastewater page for more details.
